Started yesterday in Hutchinson, KS and moved on to track potential storm risk up near Topeka. We did well and caught initialisation and followed some nice cells east towards Kansas City. Not wanting to stray too far we bailed out around 4pm as there was no chance of anything going too severe:
Today was a long shuffle south as we need to be in Dallas Thursday afternoon. We visited the Twister The Movie Museum in Wakita, OK – a town that was literally pulled down for the film then partly rebuilt by the film company (many of the houses were in disrepair anyway, including the one used as Aunt Meg’s House).
